Hi everyone. It's my first post here. Came across this site via "Google Search", while looking for places to submit my work, which has been collecting dust. Looks to be an interesting place here.

I have always enjoyed writing, as well as other things, such as art, & music. My writing has been on the back burner, as I have been concentrating on visual art, as of late.

Hope to spend a bit of time around here.

Hi people.

What kind of writing do you do? You'll love it here - but carefull, it's addictive!

I have been writing short stories, one of which has turned into a novel, or novella, not sure which yet. I write poetry, songs . . . even the odd article.

Looks addictive. LOL.

Madhouse you say? Haha. Just my kind of place.

Thanks for the welcome stormie, and Sept skies. Yes I keep getting drawn back here. Not too sure where to go on this site. I have been looking around a bit. I've been looking for ideas on where to submit my work. First and foremost in my mind is my short story collection. They are not doing much sitting on the shelf.

Hi again--

For short stories, your best bet is to send each one out to magazines. Get the 2006 Writer's Market and it tells you who needs what and where to send your work to. Or for free, go to www.ralan.com . It lists mostly sci-fi, fantasy, horror.
