Is that the phonetic way of spelling it? I found the name Koushirou but couldn't find the meaning. Also couldn't find Koi or Chiro as seperate words or names. I thought my husband could help since he's learning Japanese and loves anime but he's never heard of it. Our son's name is Kaius which I got from a sci-fi novel that I didn't read... Kai means earth in Japanese.

Yes. That is the name of a guy in my journalism class who I have to write a profile about for Monday. I sent him an email to ask him this question, but he has yet to respond.

I didn't think to ask him before (during our interveiw) but my introduction contains something like, "He has the name of XXXXXXXXXXX and grew up in the slower-paced city of Kanagawa, Japan..."

but I don't know what his name means :flag: The paper is due Monday with or without this information.
