Hi Lane,
As my favourite band have a 23 minute tune, I can't really comment on song length.
But I'm listening to your number here. Nice harmonies, a bit of Digitech there? Well recorded. Hold on, I'm going to play it again...
Yeah, that's nice. I don't know much about Country music, but get some drums in the chorus and you get a Crossover hit. Like Lonestar. Or Lone Star. They had a terribly big hit with a terrible song.
And I'm going to listen to your tune again. It is quite nice.

Very, very nice. You really should make a video for it and put it on YouTube. With the exposure I'd bet you would soon be picked up.
