Fox Movie Channel and sound volumne

OK, Fox Movie Channel shows all the old movie classics I love. I used to watch AMC until they switched to more modern movies. I think Pre 1970 is Fox's model.

Now, most young people do not watch FMC, say under 30. My adult children call it the old folks channel. OK, so I am old. But I love the classics more so than a lot of modern movies today.

Now, I am sure Fox executives are aware of this demographic. But are they aware that the friggin sound level is so low you can not hear the dialogue, the people talking in most cases? Does it cost extra or something to boost the sound level?

Older people already have hearing issues from years of heavy metal music. Do they have to make us feel even worse? Fox is the only channel I have this issue with. I have called my satellite provider and they say it is not on their end. Hmmm.

Is it just me? Does anyone else have this issue?

The carrier, "DishNetwork" says it is not them. I got 5 TV's and they all have the same problem which is why I thought it the carrier.

Then my son who is on comcast says the same thing, the sound is lower on Fox than other networks.

I stopped watching AMC when they changed their formats and added commercials. They are no better than the Syfy channel now.
