Hello From Another British Writer

I just want to say the usual newbie hello.

This place is huge and busy, so if you see someone wondering around wide-eyed and lost it's probably me.

I would like to write SF novels, but have completed a fantasy story I am trying to polish off for submission. I am also wrestling with the dreaded synopsis and can see the query letter lurking around the corner.

You'll find plenty of help here with polishing your synopsis. Don't forget to wander by the Bewares and Backgrounds check forum before you start to look for that agent or publisher. You'll quickly learn which ones are bad news!

ahoy there.
I'm from the north (hull) but live in the middle (nottingham)
it feels good that people from Britain are on this forum
they can appreciate just how bad my insomnia is these days.
