hello. I've just finished a short story. It is 1736 wds 9 pages. I'm hoping to send it to the writers digest contest. It has to be 4,000 wds or less. What do u think? I'll post it, after I go through it.

Make sure to post it in the SYW section of the board, if you meant you were going to post it here.

Sounds like you're within the word count limit, so as long as it's a complete story with a beginning, middle and end, you should be good to go in that regard.
