I noticed the ad banner on the AW forums for Book Surge and checked it out (just out of curiosity). They make claims that you get the highest royalties in the industry, international exposure, support of editing & marketing teams, as well as being listed on amazon.com.

My question... Has anyone gone this route (with Book Surge)? Is it very expensive? Can you be as successful going this route? Would you reccommend it?

Their site seemed very "sales pitchy", they make it look and sound good. I'm a little skeptical though, but interested in hearing from others who have used them.

I don't know too much about them, but I do know high royalties are meaningless unless you sell a lot of books. I've known writers who received up to 50% in royalties, were listed on Amazon (Which really doesn't mean anything, either) and still earned under a hundred bucks a year.
