Aspiring Writer Finding Her Way

I suppose it's only fitting that I start here. I've been lurking and reading the forums for a couple of days, and decided it was time I made myself public and said hello... .

A Little about me: I've been writing (well, playing really) for several years. I've always wanted to get published, but it has only been within the past several months that I have been getting serious about my writing. I am a SAHW so I can certainly have the time to write. I have dedicated myself to "working" 4 days a week reading, researching, writing, and studying people. To me it doesn't seem like work when you enjoy what you do.

My area is erotica - which is where I will more than likely spend most of my free time (what's that?) when I'm here. Anyway, just wanted to jump out and say hello to everyone, and hopefully get to talk to you all soon!

Oh, I can definitely agree that I've made the right decision in coming here, and I thank all of you for your warm welcome!
Actually I found this site when a friend of mine got published through PA , of course we didn't know the downside of it at the time, and now it's too late. Learning experience I suppose. I'm just glad I found out about them before I got tied into anything.
Anyway, I did a search on "Publish America Sucks", and this site popped up. So that's how I found you. I've done soooooo much reading here already, and am learning so much. THANK YOU!! Just being here is giving me the incentive to keep writing!
