Question for AW staff.

When I first joined AW, my pm box almost reached the limit. I was asking a lot of questions at first and quickly approached the "limit." I made the mistake of clearing those messages -- believing I had to keep it under 25 or less. Is there a way of putting them back?

Althou I've learned a lot about AW, there's still some areas I don't understand.

No, I'm sorry. When you delete them, they are deleted.

You can export them, however.

You can check off the message you want to keep, and then using the "jump to" pop-up menu near the top of the PM page:

* Download as XML
* Download as CSV
* Download as TEXT

Remember that you have a separate list of Sent messages, too.

I would suggest using TEXT as an export; the formatting may not be ideal, but it is the most reliable. CSV is a comma delimited file, designed for import into a spreadsheet, but if you've got very long messages, for instances, you may see odd formatting. XML is poorly implemented by vBulletin; unless you're comfortable with hand-coding xml, I'd skip it. Fixing formatting errors is doable there, but it's a PITA. (Though when it works, it's quite nifty.)
