Anybody here know how to work the Barnes and Noble Nook?
I just bought one after a long period of drooling over it at the stores, and I can't get it to do anything.
When you first buy the Nook, you get a couple of free books with it--Pride and Prejudice and Dracula, for example. Unfortunately, you have to download them first.
When I tried downloading Pride and Prejudice, it got to about 54% before either it stopped on its own or I navigated away from it, not sure which. I tried again with another book, and it said something like "Queuing: will be downloaded shortly." I come back later, no dice.
According to the top bar, I have great Wi-fi, though the 3G is rather spotty in my neck of the woods.
So, what am I doing wrong?
