It seems like I can find half a hundred paying markets for erotic romance, some more reputable than others, but when it comes to erotic horror and other non-romantic genres I'm at a complete loss. I know other members around here have mentioned they write non-romantic erotica too. Anyone got any good market leads? Short stories, novellas, etc?
I currently have only one market I've got my eye on for erotic horror, which is ThreeCrowPress's erotica issue each February. I know I write what they like (100% success rate with them so far) but one sub a year is a pace I'd like to improve on!
Some horror markets 'don't mind' erotic content, but obviously 'horror with erotic scenes' is different to 'erotic horror'. It's frustrating, because it's a genre I enjoy reading/listening to as well as writing. I tried submitting one of the stories to Pseudopod, but ended up with a rejection. I cannot find another podcast that takes erotic horror (well, not one that pays), which means I can't capitalise on what I've already published either.
