Good luck! I subbed a chapter and a synopsis to receive some incredible feedback in return.

They also asked to see more. :D

I was wondering if anyone else sent in anything. I just sent it off yesterday and am anxious to see what they say. :) It appears they may be increasing that line and want new talent. always a good thing :) Good Luck!

I sent one in too! I'm waiting for my reply and trying NOT to obsessively check my email.

I wrote the chapter in three days, did a rewrite, and then wrote the synopsis. It was rushed but you never know :)

I sent mine on the 15th and received a reply on the 18th. I suspect as more people procrastinated a bit, they probably received more submissions in the latter days.

No matter what, they said they would respond before the end of the month. ;)

Good luck!!

The one strange thing is that their Medical Romances are not available in stores. Maybe that will change. You can only get them online and through their subscription service.

The one issue I wonder about the line is how much medical drama to include. I don't know if any of you who subbed had this worry. I did include a trauma scene, where both Mc's worked through it together. I just hope it wasn't too much.

I was thinking a little more like General Hospital without the mob. :) At least, that is my take on it.

I received a request for more and some suggestions on deepening the emotional conflict. I'm going for it!

I did hear back. Apparently I used secondary characters too much, and I need to fully develop the two MC's in the one chapter I submitted.
Considering the only secondary character was a nurse, a friend of the MC who barely spoke that bit leaves me confused.
In regards to the two MC's, I thought it took more than one chapter to fully develop a well rounded character. I guess I'm wrong about that. *shrugs*

Oh no, that sucks. :( Maybe your synopsis relied too heavily on the secondary characters? Who knows.

Keep trying, though. I sure had my fingers crossed for you. :(
