from lurker to poster. I finally got over my angst and anxiety to take the plunge of my first post. Now, only a few days later I'm up in the 70s and finally getting up the nerve to introduce myself.
I'm a fiesty redhead living on Vancouver Island, Canada. I've lived in Oklahoma, Texas, California and West Germany. Long stories on how each move took place.
I share my life with my wonderful husband of 18 years (in December) and three funny, funny Ibizan Hounds. I'm a wickedly good cook and make a fabulous vodka martini. I love salmon fishing, the hardware store (long story again), taking photographs and the wildness of Vancouver Island. I've been performing since I was 3 and still sing with the church choir.
I used to be a high level executive with a big company based in Dallas but a run-in with a truck cut short my career and almost took my life. I've been recovering for over 5 years now and still fight every, single day to keep pain from taking over my entire existence. My joke is that I was left brained the first half of my life and I'll be right brained for the rest.
