Ok, bit of an odd question.

I currently have 2 recent threads in the SYW forum - one is a query, the other is a first chapter, in the appropriate genre subforum. So far, so good.

The only thing is, when I do a search of my own posts (by far the quickest way to see if anyone has responded), the first chapter isn't showing up.

Two people have responded, so it must be there, but I added a comment, and it's not showing in the 'new posts' search, and it keeps disappearing when I search 'all threads started by MissM' as well.

I'm not really sure why it's happening.

It's obviously not life and death, hardly anything to fall in a heap and bawl my eyes out over, lol.

I'm just curious as to why it's happening. Is it because it's in the password protected SYW forum? I thought it might be, but so is the query, and it's showing up without any problems...

they're both THERE, in the forum, and I can find them by going directly to the SYW forum and into the subgenre forum, but if I go here:

http://www.absolutewrite.com/forums/search.php?searchid=19139140 (show all threads started by MissM, via my profile)

Then the first chapter one is in the list, then it's not, then it is... when I press refresh, sometimes it disappears. Other times it's back. It's weird!

Since I use that link to access anything I've posted, it's weird that not everything is showing up.

Might be a cookie thing, too, if you're not currently logged into SYW, or if you have a SYWcookie slowly falling apart in your browser.

This may be off the point a bit, but if you're looking for a quick way to access your posts in SYW -- have you tried subscribing to the threads? You can get to them quickly from your User CP that way. :)

If that's not the case, then many apologies, but it seemed to be worth throwing out for consideration.
