having trouble copying/pasting

I'm trying to post in the SYW forum but every time I copy from my document and paste it into the text box there is no longer any indentation. If I fix it while in the text box and then hit 'preview post' it looks the same as it did when I pasted it.

What do I need to do to get it to paste the right way?

You can't copy the formatting from a word processor document.

And extra spaces are not honored. Live with it. It's far more important to have an empty line between paragraphs.
