I'm new here but I was really excited when I found this forum.

I'm looking for a mentor who is either published or has completed at least one MS. I am currently working on my first MS (a YA urban fantasy) and I would like to have someone who I can talk to who's kind of "been there, done that". I'm also looking for someone who is willing to critique my work (not the whole MS, maybe just sections and chapters); I can take a hard critique, and I probably need it.

If you're interested either PM me or reply to this post and we'll go from there. :D

Thanks in advance!

How much are you willing to read and critique?

I've done 5 chapters thus far. But I'd like to at least have a second opinion on my first chapter. Beginnings are always the roughest.
