I'm looking for betas willing to complete the process of reviewing my completed 100,000-word paranormal love story. A quick rundown:
Camp Latour is a southern professor who dies one night while driving home from the university. His wife, Emmy, unable to cope with the death of their infant daughter, is leaving him.
He is thrust into the afterlife, but refuses entry to Heaven, instead choosing to return to his wife in an effort to understand what went wrong in their life together. Rather than finding Emmy, he finds his teenage sister-in-law. Viv can see and hear the dead, as can her twin, Jim Beau.
They attempt to help Camp make contact with Emmy, but as time passes, Camp's death changes Emmy in ways he can't understand or accept. When she falls in love with another man, another spirit is introduced, one who threatens Emmy's life. Camp has to save her and reconcile where his future lies - longing for a life he doesn't have anymore or accepting his death and going forward to find their daughter, trapped somewhere in the folds of the afterlife.
