Remove artificial pagebreaks in Word 2003

Hi chaps. My wretched book won't download onto my agent's ereader and she has asked me to remove the artificial page breaks.

*sob*

WHAT DOES THAT MEAN??? HOW DO I DO IT???

I'm a terrible techno-thickie, plus I'm really Old so please make it simple.

PS Usually when something goes wrong I just resend it as a PDF file. Would that help? Or is it totally unconnected...?

To remove the page breaks you can either go to View > Normal and it will show the breaks, or you can use the Show/Hide bottom (on the toolbar it looks a bit like a music symbol; you can use tool tips to find it).

Once you can see the page breaks you can easily delete them similar to how you would delete a line. Place your cursor on the start of the break, hit the Delete key (once).

Thanks, alleycat. I think I've done that now.

The Tech Guy insists that saving as a pdf file would have taken out all the codes and page breaks. Since it clearly didn't, I've disagreed with him and we're now in the middle of major sulks. So I thought I'd ask, just to be fair, is The Tech Guy right and something cosmic has just taken place between my computer and my agent's e-reader, or is he, you know -

WRONG

- at least as regards his PDF Files Fix Everything Thesis.

Well, it really depends on what file format you sent it as before and exactly what eReader your agent is using to be precise....

But since it worked anyway, I'll join Mac and just say
