Would anybody recommend e-publishing a YA novel? I will, of course, traditionally query first; this is just for future reference.

What would the sales be like for such a novel?

Chazemataz, are you planning to self-pub or go with an existing e-publisher?

If you are going to publish yourself, Valerie Chambers is an excellent resource. She's published several YA novels and her website is here.

In March, she let me interview her for my website (March 13th listing) which I hope you'll find here. She's very open and honest and, really, just good people.

Hey! (I'm famous!)

Um, but as Harrell says, I self-publish. I don't actually use an established epublisher. I've had trouble even tracking one down that publishes young adult fiction myself.

We'll have to wait until August and see what his sales are like for Something Wicked. It's a YA ebook as far as I know, right?

The problem that I run into is that I have tons of readers (I publish webserials, with an option to buy the whole thing or just wait until it's free) who are teenagers and they love my stuff, but can't buy online because they don't have credit cards. I'm wondering if that's why there aren't more epubbed YA books.
