Im writing my first novel and was wondering how much is acceptable sexually.

She was completely naked except for the towel around her waste when he [her boyfriend] opened the door to her room. He hurried inside and closed it after him. She didn’t say anything but removed the towel, threw it on the floor and took her hairdryer and started drying her hair. She could see him in the mirror in front of her. He walked to her bed and sat down with his back leaning against the wall. He was smiling at her. She smiled back.
When she was done drying her hair she heard him stand up and walking towards her. She stood still looking in the mirror. He was now just behind her. He wrapped his arms around her and kissed her on the neck. Gentle and loving. She turned around and kissed him on the mouth. Intense and passional. They stood still with there arms wrapped around each other for a long time, kissing. She loved moments like this. This was when she knew she loved him over anything else. Even thought she wanted to do more, her brother was in the next room so they [her and her boyfriend] had to wait until later where they hopefully would be alone. This was killing her. She was in the mood right now, but knew it would be wrong.

Is this ok (or too much) or is more (sex scenes) also acceptable?

English is not my first language so please don't correct grammar =)

They don't actually do anything, and I've read books where they do, so I'd say you're fine.

I asked a similar question awhile back, about how much is too much. There really is no straight answer, it really depends on the kind of YA you are writing, and how much you feel is neccesary for your story to come to life. This would be considered something mild, since, they don't actually do anything. If your worried about how much you can write when it comes to sexual scenes pick up a few YA romance novels, that might point you in the right direction or scan some of the older threads, this question comes up more time's then you would imagine.

There's not much that will shock a 16-21 year old. You'll be fine.

As long as you keep it mostly vanilla I don't think it will be a problem, if it is, the agent or editor will let you know.

Basically sex in YA is fine, as long as it addresses it in a real/honest way. Promoting sex, talking about it without any implications, or anything that would make an adult blush doesn't usually go over well.

Nothing to worry about here.

Though it's "waist" not "waste". Putting a towel around your waste is just gross. :)
