What Summer Shows Are You Watching in 2010?

All the shows we love are finishing off, sadly. Which means it's time for the low-budget quirky masterpieces available in the summer season! Which shows are you watching?

Me, I'm back for another season of both "Drop Dead Diva" and "Royal Pains". They have their flaws, but ultimately I love them both. I'm also kinda intrigued about "Pretty Little Liars". And I think this summer I've drunk the koolaid and I have to watch "Toddlers and Tiaras". And, because I love degeneracy and poop jokes, Tosh.0.

It's not precisely summer shows, but they'll be on this summer, and I cannot even tell you how excited I am for season two of "The Beautiful People" and season 3 of "Gavin and Stacey" on BBCAmerica.

True Blood!

Is Psych coming back to USA this summer? If so, then that.

So far, nothing else. Although I've promised some friends that I'll get caught up on Glee. They insist I watch it.

I'm too much of a snob for summer television (the network stuff anyway, which is all I get), so I'll be catching up on other series this summer.

I'm going to watch Modern Family, and try Battlestar Galactica. Maybe Dexter--tried that one before but didn't get in to it.

The only summer show I'm really waiting for is The Closer. LOVE Kyra Sedgwick's Brenda Leigh, plus all the other characters. Love this show, period.

Otherwise, I'm filling up my Netflix with the rest of Battlestar Galactica, The Wire, and the Indiana Jones movies for the kiddos.

I love trashy summer TV. Next Food Network Star and Design Star, Wipeout, America's Got Talent (sometimes...it's becoming unwatchable), True Beauty...I think True Blood is the only reputable thing I watch these months. XD

I don't think there are any new ones that I'll pick up, just some returning favorites. True Blood, So You Think You Can Dance, The Next Food Network Star, Hell's Kitchen. Actually, now that I think about it, I may check out Pretty Little Liars, which is new. But I think that's it.

All those DVD box sets I've been buying but haven't really been watching. Almost finished with Daria, going to work on The Prisoner next, then barrel my way through Farscape.

I started watching, and blogging about, Star Trek The Next Generation. I saw all the episodes when they were new, and remembered it fondly.

I'm still in season one, and I gotta say, some of them are really really wretched. I'd forgotten . . .

Summer is my time to catch up on shows I've been wanting to get into. So I'll also be watching Battlestar Galactica (FINALLY!) and I might try Lost again. I'll also be finishing up Chuck and hopefully find ways to watch episodes I missed through the season of my other shows.

Deadliest Catch and after that, Shark Week, baby!

And baseball. Season's two months old and I've yet to see a complete game. That WILL change.

I love So You Think You Can Dance, even though my husband cringes every time it's on.

I can't wait to watch Top Chef DC! I grew up in the DC area so I'm really interested to see where they have their challenges.

Oh, I definitely need to follow your blog! I watched ST:TNG as a kid, and it's still one of my favorite shows. You're right though--a lot of the first season is kind of cheesy but it gets a lot better in later seasons.
