Hi, I've had a bit of a challenge trying to copy from word in order to post here and in other sites. I seem to lose my line spacing and paragraph indentations. Any suggestions would be deeply appreciated.
Thanks,
Paul

Always use review if it is an option. On some sites the codes will transfer, on other sites not so much. When you review before hitting the post button, note what is missed up and then go back and fix. This may require additional line breaks, or using HTML codes to do bold or italics, or strike throughs, etc.

I have heard others say copy and past to notepad and then save and then copy and past from note pad. Seems like a lot of work to me, so I just do the review thingy...

While there are more easier and advanced methods (IIRC someone has created a macro,) I use a dumb one. I copy from Word to Notepad (TEXT editor), and then copy again from Notepad to AW. All formats will be lost, including font types, font sizes, italics and underlines, etc.

Just in case, if you have never used Notepad before... Notepad is accessable by clicking START > ALL PROGRAMS > ACCESSORIES > NOTEPAD. It's convenient to make a shortcut to your desktop by right-clicking the icon and select SEND TO > DESKTOP (create shortcut.)

Check out the announcement visible from all Share Your Work sub-forums, which includes a "Reformatting text for posting" section. ;)
