Hello everyone. Im copying Kaitie over here, so ill just write up this - Here we will gladly and with great pleasure try to kick each other's butts while moaning about how crap we are and how slow we are compared to the others.

I'm in. I hope to write tomorrow morning now that I am settled in at my sister's place.

I finished the first draft of Murder at 21 from June 19th to December 19, 2009. I started writing Murder at Bendel's shortly after.

If I had kept the same pace, I would have finished the first complete draft of Bendel's in another couple weeks. Instead, I've got about sixty pages, very little of which has to do with the actual murder mystery.

So I'm going to push. One day a week I'm going to focus on sending out query letters and getting an agent, and I'm going to write at least four days a week going forward.

Current word count on Bendel's - 16,196. I want to get to a least 30,000 by the end of the month.

Hmm, June 3rd = 690 words and the first day of writing this month. I know this is going to be a tough month with all the moving about, but, as always, I hoped for more than that by now.

Time to buckle down I guess. :poke:

Still nothing for me today. Between grading tests and being too tired to write, I haven't gotten much done. I did get quite a bit of an origami hercules beetle done at the station, though. Too tired to read, too.

I'll post a pic when I finish it if I get it done. Using a smaller piece of paper than last time I tried it, but thinner, too.

Just over 48 hours later... word count 17,005. 809 words.

The even better new is that I filled in a gap so that now the last twenty-six pages are finished, at least until I start doing major revisions.

Well, I had to rewrite the last scene I wrote before I could start the next one. Decided to change one of the big decisions to something else that should work better. Ended up with a net loss of about fifty words, though.

Hopefully tomorrow will do better. I've been having a bad few days.

Nothing today. Went to visit my grandmother, which means putting up with her smoking and dealing with the ensuing migraine from all the smoke. Historically, why couldn't gum chewing have become the cool thing for adults to do?

Aw, that sucks. :/ I hate being around smokers, too. I can't breathe and it makes me sick to my stomach.

Actually, my outline started turning into snippets of conversation I hope to use somewhere, so maybe I'm a little over. But it's still your one day versus my whole month.

1,805. At the fun part now. Actually, in theory from here on out with a few minor exceptions I get to write non-stop fun parts. I've been looking forward to this half of the book.

Well I'm pinch hitting. I think I'm so used to multitasking I keep my brain happier when I do two things at a time. So although I'm still formatting my Indian Land Title book, I did get a total of 3,059 words done on my WIP on Monday and today. I feel so much better!
