Accepted an offer!

After a few weeks of meetings and a highly exciting three-way auction, I've accepted my first book contract! It's with HarperCollins (UK), four books in the series (of which the first is written) for 56k advance!
I feel mentally and physically exhausted after negotiation that pretty much took up all of my mind for the past two weeks, and all of this in the time spanning my final exams for my degree.
But, the good news is that I can finish my last exam tomorrow with a book contract, and something to do over the summer.

Thanks so much for all the help you guys have been! This forum has been an invaluable resource about all things writing and publishing. I hope to share more of the experience with you!

Thank you! It's a humorous adventure story set in a small english village, with a bit of a raucous story-line and funny characters. Anything more...well...that's spoilers!
