I've contributed a critique of ten pages of a manuscript. It's up for bid on the one-day auction special tomorrow, May 22.

Even if you don't decide to bid on that, (a distinct possibility,) there is just a plethera of critiques for bid. Put 'critique' in the search box. There's about a hundred offerings.

This is a good cause.

I have a personal interest in diabetes so I am really enthusiastic about the auction. And with a critique, maybe you help somebody out with their writing too. A win-win.

If any of you are interested, I've got a contest entry critique (appropriate since I'm such a contest slut)

that comes with a copy of Turning Thirty-Twelve! My mom has diabetes, which contributed to her stroke, so I obviously think it's a great cause.

The clock is winding down on the great deals at the auction. Make sure you drop by to see if there's something that will benefit you as a writer (or just that you desperately want to own!) There's not just book stuff up this year. Lots of nifty jewelry, autographed rock star guitars and such. Definitely worth the time to rummage around.

This is a great opportunity for a critique -- and frankly I think your critque would be equally good whether it's for a contest or for general writing.
