I could use someone or a small group to help me stay accountable for getting my short fiction written. I'm not asking for a big commitment from anyone, just somebody to check in with regularly, exchange word counts and goals and maybe seek/give advice.
I usually stick to science-fiction and fantasy with a smidge of horror, generally in the form of semi-linear episodic fiction. I'm willing to help my partner or group with just about any form of writing, though. I feel I'm a pretty strong writer all-around, especially in grammar, character development, and plotting. My biggest problem is producing a regular volume of work, which is where I could use a hand. When given advice or critiques, I don't need them watered down at all, and I'll generally be pretty straightforward as well, though I'll probably stick to the old "compliment sandwich" until I get comfortable with you.
I'm happy to do this with just about anyone, at any level of skill, as long as they don't bail without a heads up and it's not somebody with too big of an ego.
