Full rejected

Well, back to the drawing board, I had a full out for review for over 7 months and just received the rejection.

I had purposely not submitted it over the past couple of months anywhere else so that if I received a rejection on the ms, I could step back and take a new look at the book.

Now comes the opportunity to see if I want to start editing again and see if I can bring the word count up.

It is a nonfiction Christian book with 37K words. I know there are books of this length being published, but mostly by established authors. So while I work on building my platform, I will review the ms itself.

Just thought I would vent a little...

It was the last request I had out there - taking a 6 week break from my MBA classes to take a fresh look at the ms. Perhaps I can get the word count up - a new edit....

Thanks for the boost - I am committed to this particular work, though I have another in progress. I'll be reviewing it based on some things that I have learned since the time I completed it - the learning never stops <G>
