I'm looking for some good book recommendations. I like YA fiction and adult fiction, but, mainly I really like books that deal with real life issues such as drug abuse, etc. I've read alot of Jodi Picoult, Laurie Halse Anderson, and Patrica McCormick. I am currently reading The Weight of Silence. I don't like writing that is too complicated. I like to keep it simple and to the point. Any suggestions?

Well, as for addictions you can't do much better than James Frye A Million Little Pieces and Susan Keysan Girl, Interrupted

You might enjoy something like In Defense of Food by Michael Pollan. I thought it was both interesting and enjoyable to read.

Gemma by Meg Tilly! I love it and I don't usually read books like that. I couldn't put it down.
