The Guardian (UK newspaper) yesterday published their selection of the best children's books.

Here's the introduction. And here are their selections for ages 0-2, 2-4 and 5-7.

I KNEW The Very Hungry Caterpillar was going to be on there :D:D:D

Pretty good list but I think that the Famous Five and The Magic Faraway Tree should have been somewhere there though.

I loved them as a kid, in fact I can still pick them up now and enjoy them :)
