Hi all,
I'm polishing my query and I wondered if I should mention marketing strategy in my query. I have an "in" with an overseas market, but I didn't know if mentioning that would help, hinder or bore a prospective agent.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

If it's fiction, it won't matter at the query stage. All the connections in the world won't help if the book doesn't grab the agent. That's something you mention after you've sold the book.
If it's non-fiction, and your connections/marketing stuff is relevant to the book to show you have an audience, it might be worth mentioning. Non-fic is all about platform.

Thanks, Danthia. That's exactly what I needed to know.
