If you go to the Kindle Store, HQN has a half dozen books for free, from various lines. I DL'd a few of them yesterday, 'cause I was curious how the Kindle for PC thing works. Which, it works great. I'm still partial to the Nook though, if I ever buy an actual eBook reader.

I don't have an e reader. When I do, I think I will get a Sony.

Thanks for posting this :) My first finished work is a bit of knit-lit, and I've been meaning to read this for a while now.

NP. I read the book a couple years back. It was a good read.

You can get Kindle software for the PC/Mac for free -- you don't need a physical Kindle to have the software. Which means you can read all the free Kindle books for free. :)

I can't read on the computer for very long. My eyes usually end up burning out of my head, sadly.

Out of curiousity, has anyone tried reading a Kindle formatted book on a Nook or Sony eReader? I'm thinking of getting the Nook. I dont want a Kindle, 'cause I buy from other sources than just Amazon and don't want that restriction. Plus the wi-fi and other features of the Nook seem more complete.
