Like it says in the subject. Can you recommend me any novels set during the Blitz in London and around Britain? So far I've just read "To Say Nothing About The Dog" by Connie Willis (ok, I guess that was Coventry and not London) (and her new book "Blackout" is also on my list), and "Full Dark House" by Christopher Fowler. And Narnia, I suppose. Also I really liked "The Stolen Child" and "The Doctor Dances" episodes of Doctor Who, though obviously that's not a book. I think it's a very interesting time period, and I am trying to learn more about history :)

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

PS If there are some really obvious books, please point them out as I am clueless!

How about The London Blitz Murders by Max Allan Collins? Agatha Christie solves crime in the midst of daily bombings.

The End of the Affair by Graham Greene is one of my favouritest ever books.

A kid's book - Fireweed - is about two kids lost in London during the Blitz. I read it over twenty-five years ago and still remember it. Can't remember the author, though.
