Where's the right place for this question?

Hi everyone. I'm new to AW and this is my first post in the YA forum so please bear with me.

I am in the beginning stages of my current WIP which is a YA SF. I am writing from a first person POV with a MC of a gender different than what I usually write. This is a first for me and I am working in a vacuum. No one who is willing or able to give me feedback on my work irl.

I am hoping to post the first page for feedback on voice. Specifically I would like to know first impressions of the MC.

Is this the place to post something like that or would it be more appropriate elsewhere?

Remember, there are others over there that are nervous too. Posting your work for others to publicly read takes courage.
