Anyone reading "Rooms" by James Rubart?

What do you think? I'm halfway through and not feeling the urge to keep reading.

I haven't seen the book. I know it's getting a lot of talk-up, so I suppose I'll get curious and look into it. I assume it wasn't working for you?

The premise is interesting, but I still haven't picked it back up. Too much character analysis, maybe, after each unusual event the hero has to relay all the events to a secondary character. And you can tell how it's going to end.
