I read somewhere that the old Courier is "retired" (?) and that now the "new" Courier is pretty much the ONLY Courier.

Courier New is Courier. So is regular Courier, Courier10 bt, Dark Courier, Courier Final Draft, etc.

All these fonts are the same size, look exactly alike, etc. The only difference is how dark they print. You can use Courier New, but it prints much dimmer than the others, so it's not the best choice.

The two best fonts are Dark Courier and Courier Final draft, which is the font Final Draft uses.
