A punk from Tucson, Arizona struggles to save his young wife caught in the clutches of a giant monster known as The Grinder, a Godzilla-sized beast made entirely from the bodies of people and animals it has captured. As he comes to terms with the knowledge he may never see his wife again, as the military launches a response on his city that causes more harm than good, he learns the true origin and intentions of the beast.
