Picture this: You're creating a new kick-butt character for your latest thriller. You want this new person have a military background, but "Special Forces" is soooooo overdone.

Allow me to present the answer to your problems: the US Army's Career Option Tool. It allows you to use sliders that show your character's personality traits and motivations in order to find the right job for them. TOTALLY AWESOME tool!!! I seriously spent too much time on this one. But I did find the perfect job for my new character.

Enjoy!

Wow, that's very cool. I don't usually write soldiery type people, but if I ever do I'll definitely keep that in mind. :D

Oh that was fun! I did myself. ;) It came back as:

#1 Legal and Law Enforcement, (I do a lot of research in legal docs for one of my other jobs -- not to mention the whole mystery writing thing.)
#2 Arts & Media -- HA! Do both.

So pretty accurate I'd say. Good find Todd!
