I've been using Open Office for the last couple of weeks and, for the most part, really like it. However, it keeps doing something that irks me and interrupts my writing flow.
Every time it auto-corrects something, this little square with a sun appears in the lower right hand corner and just SITS there. It annoys me. I've shut off auto-correct, but then it'll just turn on anyway and flash that stupid sun-square at me.
I've gone through all the various options and customizing that I can find, but I can't find a way to shut off the appearance of this stupid alert that the program is doing its job. Anyone know how to shut it off?
