I was thinking I'd like to do a compendium of words we associate with horror. Basically words we use as writers to bring about that sense of . . .dread (like that one), terror, horror.
What are some of your favorites? (or not favorites but words you use to make that association).
Damn, I'm very limited on time here and I don't know if this post is coming across as I mean it.
Just a very few of mine (since I am limited on time now):
Dystopia, Lecherous, Devouring, Carnal, Monstrous, Defiled, Grotesque.
More later (and perhaps a better explanation of what I mean).
