accepted an offer of representation from Alyssa Reuben at Paradigm for my YA novel FADING!
Even though I haven't been regularly visiting AW for a while, I wanted to post here, because this is where the whole journey started. Maaaaany long years ago. Thanks for the support in what has been a very arduous trip.
To those still in the trenches: I nearly gave in several times and quit, but I HONESTLY believe if you want it bad enough you can make it happen - by going to conferences to hone your skill, finding helpful crit partners, reading your genre voraciously, taking constructive criticism and using it to strengthen your work - with enough sweat you can make it happen. And it will take sweat, tears, and yes, maybe even blood - this was the most painful thing I've ever done - but if you love it, go for it!
