Just noticed that Tigana is getting a new UK paperback edition, but not until 29 April. And there's no copy in Hampshire libraries. I'll see if I can pick up a copy at Eastercon (assuming it wins the poll of course).

eta: It's 237,000 words. Holy shit. I don't believe that 400-page count that Amazon UK has for that new paperback somehow... Unless you read it with the aid of a microscope.

Hm, it's a big book, but it's not epic.

Of course, it's a fast read once you get past the opening

You might find an old or used copy at the local book store. Here it's one of his more commonly shelved books.

I got swamped with school work, so here's my belated: Tigana wins! I hope everyone can get a copy soon. I just started rereading and I can't wait until things really unfold.

Kay certainly does throw a lot at you in the opening with this novel.

Yay. I haven't read Tigana in forever. I bought my copy in an airport bookstore in London right before flying back to California back in 1993. And now I have a great reason to dig it out again.
