Character Crushes? What 'Character' Do You Covet??? :)

So, inspired by the Joss Whedon thread (which reappears about once a quarter), I thought I'd bring this one back for some of our recent newbies.

But here are the rules. This is NOT about ACTORS and ACTRESSES!!!!

But Characters.

What characters do you have/had a crush on?

State the movie, character, real life actress name, and REASON.

As for me....

I'm normally not a fan of cutesy characters, but Fred (Amy Acker) from the series Angel was so adorable and such a sweetheart that I had a secret crush on her. Almost like being back in high school.

Incidentally, her transformation from cutesy Fred to the Goddess Illyria was just amazing.

And Professor Lupin from the Harry Potter series. Yeah. He's a werewolf.

You know, I don't even read a lot of paranormal stuff. Maybe I should read more.

I have a mega crush on Richard Castle, from Castle. It's a good thing I'm not Beckett, or I'd have to arrest myself for assault and indecent exposure. (I'm gonna go get a cold drink, it's gotten warm in here.)

I'm gonna stick with the theme and say Connor from Angel. He was so cute, and he had that whole "tormented" thing going on. It just made you want to comfort him. *innocent smile*

Also, his and Angel's little karaoke about Jasmine was sooooo adorable, I totally fell in love with him and his voice at that moment.

I actually have a crush on Patrick Jane (Simon Baker) from The Mentalist. And I don't even care for blond men! For him, though, I make an exception. He would be horrible to be around in real life (such a manipulator!), but on TV, it's fascinating.

I also have a case of the hots for Derek Morgan (Shemar Moore) on Criminal Minds. He's dedicated, sensitive, funny, likes kids, and es muy, muy attractive. What's NOT to like?!

Chuck from Chuck (Zachary Levi), Dr. Horrible (Neil Patrick Harris), Jim from the Office (John Krasinski), Han Solo (Harrison Ford), just about every male aboard the Enterprise from the new Star Trek (Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Anton Yelchin, and Karl Urban), and...House (Hugh Laurie), for some reason. I like Shawn (James Roday) from Psych a lot, too.

I also have a friend crush on Liz Lemon (Tina Fey) from 30 Rock and Kurt (Chris Colfer) from Glee. Best friends ever!
