A Pinky Between Friends

A Pinky between Friends

Which is correct? I'd rather not have my short story get hucked out because I make the wrong choice here.

I ask because prepositions don't usually get capitalized, but it looks wrong with a small letter.

The first one is correct.

The first is correct in this case. Although "between" is a preposition, and as such is not capitalized in headline style, 15th Chicago Manual of Style (8.167) says to cap if the word is stressed (as in A River Runs Through It). CMS readily admits that the rules are arbitrary.

EDIT: The "uh oh" title is because I originally was going to say not to, but a quick check of CMS proved my initial guess wrong.
