Hello everyone,

Like everyone noticed, there were not so many screenwriters in animation here. I don't want to leave this forum and I think you are all great but I would appreciate to get some feedback on Hollywood progress with animation studios or script development in this special field. I have heard for example from an agent who read my screenplay that Dreamworks is going to purchase some new scripts in september / October.

Do you know anyone who had his script sold in feature animation?

Animation. You've managed to pick the hardest in a hard field!

Check out Larry Brody's message board - he might be able to point you to some better details. He hasn't written any feature animation, but has written for some TV animation. (Spiderman TV series & Diabolik ?)

Don't let it put you off, [redacted--JDM] columns are often built around "hard love" (a realistic look at things) but equally as often there's a spark of hope.

While you're there, read all the other columns. Everyone should.

And sometimes, just to beat the odds, "scripts wanted" ads appear asking for animation scripts, as with this week's InkTip.com email.
