So I know I'm getting ahead of myself here but I'm asking hypothetically so indulge me if you can.
Let's assume I sent my MS to a pub like DAW or TOR and it was accepted. From what I've read this makes it significantly easier (improves you chances at least) at getting an agent to finalize the contract and generally "do their thing." So which agent would you guys reach out to first?
Or am I missing a critical element of the puzzle here?

EDIT:Sorry, title is missing a "you" between "would" and "ask."

I've been rejected by just about all of them at one time or another. Not sure I'd go to any of them. Right now, not a single agent pops to mind. I know who I'd like to ask, but he doesn't take icky bug.

If I had a manuscript accepted by a publisher like TOR or DAW, I would send an email to Russ Galen first. He'd still probably turn it down (he has a LOT of high-profile clients), but that's who I'd contact first. He's kinda my dream agent.
