Hey guys,

I thought you might be interested in seeing this interview I did with thriller writer David Lindsey. He is a super nice guy, and if you've not read his books you might want to try. A lot of us have said we like more literary thrillers, and his qualify.

Enjoy!

Enjoyed the short interview with David Lindsey. A quick study in how writing and publishing gets done in the real world. Its always fascinating to discover how writers came to writing and how they work. Guess I'll have to add Lindsey to my never-ending reading list.

BTW, I also enjoy your D.A. Confidential blog; well-informed yet down-to-earth is how I might describe your style. Have you excerpted your novel "The Bookseller" somewhere?

Good luck with your blog and your fiction writing.

Alek,

Thanks very much, I'm glad you liked the interview and the blog.

My novel isn't posted anywhere online, no, it just went out on submission yesterday. But I do promise to sign every copy bought by AWers (and presented to me with a smile).

What are you writing?

Good interview Mark! I am always amazed at how must of us writers have the same feelings of doubts and insecurity and elation of creating a story. I know sometimes I feel I have written the greatest words on paper ever then look at it a few weeks later and think it's crap.

Thanks! I suspect that you'd be had pressed to find a writer who doesn't, at some point, feel very much the same way. Goes with the territory, I guess.
