I was rather dubious of this show's pedigree (Sealab 2021 and Frisky Dingo on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim block), but it's turned out to be hilarious. It's a spy parody, set in an organization that can't afford to pay for the employees' health insurance but the head agent has a pretty spiffy office. And I'm certain they're still using MS-DOS 1.5 on their network. And their top agent, Sterling Archer? His mother is the head of the organization. And she gave him the code name "the Duchess". Oh, and she's also seeing the head of the KGB. Along those lines. Anybody else watching?

Haven't seen it yet, but now I've got Kenny Loggins stuck in my head. Blast it all!

I've caught a few episodes and really liked it. Not quite "laugh out loud funny" for the most part, but consistently amusing.

There've been a couple episodes where Archer brings it up with his ex and coworker Lana Kane (for our players not in the US, Lanacaine is an over-the-counter topical ointment), sort of as an inside joke, sort of to piss her off.

Yeah, I'm watching. I liked in the first episode when Archer breaks into that highly secure room and the mainframe computer's password is 'guest'.

Plus, it's got the mom from Arrested Development. I'd recognize that voice anywhere.

Show is good - just catching it on Hulu this week.

Also has the wonderfully funny Aisha Tyler (she's also terrifically hot, but this is an animated show).

I mostly know it for usually being refered as The Other Good Show on Adult Swim (The first one is The Venture Bros. obviously...)

This show is set to DVR always. My hubs immediately watches it when he gets back from duty or deployment. LOVE IT! SO funny. Also enjoy Wilfred which is odd and funny as well.

I LOVE Archer! A few friends suggested it to me, and I was hesitant, but it is so much better than I expected. I can't wait for the next season!

Okay, it looks like it's just going to be the three-episode arc for the time being. Apparently, it's some sort of an experiment to get people who watch Archer to watch the lead-in It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia. Since I'm not a fan of It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, it only means I turn on the TV a half hour later than before.

Well, it's more about getting people who already watch Sunny to tune in to Archer. Sunny has a strong viewership--it's been renewed for two more seasons. Archer's audience is solid, but F/X would like to see the numbers boost, so they're hoping the Sunny fandom will stick around, watch Archer and be on lookout for it when it returns for a full season.

DAAAAAAAAAANJAAAAAAHHHHH ZZZZZZOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWNNNNNN!!!!

New episodes start January 19!

The Blu-ray (also on DVD?) has a hilarious short that ties into Archer's cancer surgery where he wakes up looking like H. Jon Benjamin, the voice actor who plays him on the show. It goes into a circular dream and...well...let's just leave it at that.
