my dad said a page of a script is about a minuet...if so my script is gonna be like 30 minuets.... How long is the correct length?
Let's see ... 1 (page / minute) x 30 (minutes) = 30 (pages).

So the answer is 30 pages.

Of course, that is a very rough rule of thumb.

But just write it and see.

Good luck !

Mac
(PS: I'm guessing you meant 'minute' and not 'minuet'. I have no idea how many minuets a musical should have)

Like MAC said, it's a very rough rule of thumb.

As for how long should it be?

How long would it take to tell the story?

That's how long it should be and not a page longer.

A feature script has to be about 90 pages to 12o pages . A short can be anything from 3 pages to 75 pages , that is what I found in the net in the script writing wesites

That is the rule of thumb.

You will see requests 90-120 pages, with 120 max (two hour limit).

Because script writing is minimalist, there's no reason for much length variation.

Just don't waste your time on adjectives when not required.
