I have a question about POV (point of view). Which POV is preferred in the fiction novel world? 1st or 3rd?
Thanks

On the flip side, I disagree with everything in this post. Opinions; they're a pain.I have to admit, as more of a reader than a writer (at this point!), it's hard for me to enjoy first-person. Unless the main character doing the talking has interesting patter and internal dialogue, I find first-person narrative a crutch to force instant rapport with the reader. Either that or the author is self-indulgently living vicariously through their mc.

I kind of feel the same. I much prefer to read 3rd person.
