Hello everybody!
Silly me I started posting before scrolling down and noticing the newbie forum...
Right, what's to tell...
Well I'm 29 years old, I'm unpublished, although I have a manuscript with an agent...fingers crossed.
I've never written poems, short stories or the like, only novels. I finished my first book when I was 18 and I've kept it so that I can remind myself how excruciatingly rank my writing was 11 years ago; even I can see I've improved. I'm no longer an angsty-18-year-old-MarySue (a delightful term I only heard a few days ago but which made me blush when I realised exactly how much it applied to my early *ahem* 'work').
Day to day boring stuff...well I'm between jobs at the moment, having to take some time off due to regular UVB treatment at the hospital for various skin conditions. I get a tan (crimson, not 'tan coloured') on the NHS and my eczema clears up. Huzzah!
No children. No husband. I like time and space to myself.
And more importantly my library stretches to about 350 books. Small, I know, but I had a mass clearout recently due to the 'creaking floorboards under the huge bookcases in a small flat' incident. Ho hum.
Finally, I like this icon so here it is:
